Terms of Service

GuardMyBucks (“FinSage”, “we”, “us”) is a personal finance tracker. You can manually enter or import transactions, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and investments; set budgets, bills, and goals; upload credit reports and bank statements for automated parsing; and use an optional AI advisor for insights about the data you've added.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be able to enter into a binding agreement to use this service. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@finsage.dev.

GuardMyBucks is a tracking and organizing tool, not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or credit bureau. Insights, forecasts, cash flow projections, and AI-generated suggestions are informational only, generated from the data you've entered — they can be wrong, incomplete, or based on outdated information, and should never be treated as professional financial, tax, or legal advice. You're solely responsible for decisions you make based on anything shown in the app.

Some features (the AI Advisor, AI-assisted statement/screenshot/PDF import, and credit report parsing) send the relevant text or document content to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Depending on your plan and settings, this is either your own AI provider key (“bring your own key”) or, where enabled, a server-side fallback key we manage. See our Privacy Policy for details on what's sent and to whom. AI output can be inaccurate — always sanity-check anything used for a real financial decision.

Plans are currently assigned by our team rather than through automated checkout — nothing is billed without you asking first. To change your plan, use the in-app upgrade page to email us, or contact support@finsage.dev directly. Feature limits for your current plan are shown on the Upgrade page inside the app.

You own the data you put into GuardMyBucks. You can export a copy of it or permanently delete your account at any time from Profile settings inside the app. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and protect it.

Don't use GuardMyBucks to store or process data you don't have the right to, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, interfere with the service's operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuardMyBucks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on data, forecasts, or AI output shown in the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use GuardMyBucks after an update means you accept the revised terms.
